Definitions

In these terms and conditions, "Heathrow Local Cars," "we," or "us" denotes the service provider. The terms "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or entity making a booking with us.

Booking

2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers where adherence to specific check-in times is crucial for your flight. We cannot be held responsible for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or unavailability for collection at the designated time.

2.2 You are responsible for selecting a car of appropriate size to accommodate all passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee transportation of excessive luggage, and please note that each child, irrespective of age, counts as a single passenger.

2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be communicated at the time of booking.

Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quotations are based on the information provided by you. Unless otherwise specified, all prices exclude VAT, which will be charged additionally if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price in case of significant changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Our quotes include a 45-minute waiting period post the scheduled landing time and cover airport parking fees. Any waiting time exceeding this period will be charged at our standard waiting rate. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation thoroughly for accuracy. Failure to notify us of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we shall not be held liable.

3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.

The Service

4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any damage to the vehicle or additional cleaning costs incurred due to passenger behavior may result in extra charges.

4.2 Consumption of food, beverages, or smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.

4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We are bound by licensing and insurance regulations regarding passenger capacity and cannot exceed the specified limit.

Cancellations

5.1 In the event of a cancellation, you must notify us at the earliest opportunity. Cancellations made after dispatch may incur charges based on the distance covered by the driver up to the point of cancellation.

5.2 Cancellation of bookings made through our online platform before dispatch may attract charges as per the original payment.

Liability

6.1 While we strive to ensure punctual arrival at your destination, we shall not be liable for losses arising from circumstances beyond our control. We disclaim any liability for losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 You assume responsibility for your luggage at all times.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative vehicle promptly to minimize disruption to your journey.

6.4 You agree not to hold us liable for any expenses, damages, or losses resulting from the actions or omissions of any member of your party.

6.5 Nothing in this agreement seeks to exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter prohibited by applicable laws.

Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or decline a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised by any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

Miscellaneous

8.1 We may subcontract our obligations as outlined in this agreement. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.

8.2 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates applicable at the time of booking.

8.3 We handle information following the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Heathrow Local Cars and yourself.

8.5 No provision in these terms and conditions is intended to confer benefits on any third party unless agreed upon in writing.

Disputes

Any disputes or claims must be raised within 30 days from the date of the booking pickup. We are not obligated to entertain claims or disputes beyond this timeframe.
